Land Cruiser Mountain Park is to become 10,000 acre Wilderness Park accessible only to “Crofters”. Less than 2 hours from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast It’s was perfect place for locals to learn new off road driving skills, have fun with the family or mates and at the same time explore over 200km of 4WD tracks. The unrestricted camping is set to be replaced with a land holders systems known as “Crofting”
Previously there the public had open use of 4 main camping areas of Cowah Falls, Trakka Terrace, The Gums and Fig Tree and was one of the rare locations that Campfires and Dogs were allowed.
The property has a number of natural attractions including the head waters of the Brisbane River, creeks and waterfalls and will be a big loss to the 4wd community. Abundant wildlife along with freshwater fishing, swimming, bush walking, mountain climbing, bird watching and picturesque scenery is now to be in the hands of its new land owners.
